The primary drawback of this tropical drink is the cost. It can cost as much as $2.00 for a single 8oz tetrapak of coconut water in the grocery store. This is much more than what you would pay for Gatorade, but that is true for virtually all healthy organic food. It is possible to find good deals on coconut water in big warehouse stores like Costco and Sam’s Club.
